These murals were a big challenge. For the design and atmosphere of this concept, Abraham Hostels was looking to combine the world under water and the psychedelic realm. The unseen, unknown and unexplainable. How can we capture what we don’t really know, but that does exist somewhere? As a team the designers for the Hostel, my work partner at the time and I had to talk, play and paint alongside our inner child. The project was nostalgic, introspective and dynamic, but mostly fun and liberating. There are 20 murals in the collections and each one is unique in its own way.
